Sol Prebus, MD

Sol A. Prebus, MD, is a Board Certified internal medicine physician offering office based and telemedicine services to patients in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Prebus believes that medicine does not work if the patient and the doctor cannot find a place to meet where both can give their full attention to the problem. His philosophy stresses that people need to feel safe to speak of their issues, and they need to have time to think and discuss. He takes a personalized approach to care, and dedicates 90 minutes to initial visits so patients can get the time and attention they need. 
Dr. Prebus attended medical school at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent his post-residency in rural Alabama and Georgia with the National Health Service Corps. He worked 18 years as an internal medicine hospitalist. The last three years at Veterans hospitals in Saginaw, MI and Tucson, AZ.
At his office, Dr. Prebus provides integrative medicine for a variety of patient needs, including management for congestive heart failure, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. He also provides treatment plans for anxiety and depression, and can counsel patients on weight loss and smoking cessation.
