Mohamed Tom, MD

Dr. Mohamed Tom is a neurologist who specializes in treating patients with complex epilepsy or seizure conditions. He has special clinical interests in intensive care EEG and autoimmune epilepsy.

Dr. Tom earned a medical degree from the University of Juba, Juba, South Sudan. He completed a residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He gained further training through a fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

He has presented and publicized his research into EEG monitoring for ICU patients and other topics related to neurology and epilepsy. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, and American Epilepsy Society.
