David's BBQ & Catering

"David’s BBQ & Catering was started in Gainesville, Florida, the heart of North Central Florida, by the late David Reber in the 1970’s. From the beginning, David’s mission was to serve quality BBQ at a fair price and to give back to the community that supported his business.

Brian Hood, the current owner, vowed to continue operating by that mission when he purchased the business in 1988. Since then Brian opened the long-standing location on NW 39th Ave and recently (2012) a second location on NE 23rd Ave. Now with his son, Jeremy, the family operates both stores along with a full-service catering operation.

The restaurants serve breakfast, lunch and dinner along with full service catering for any event or wedding."
