Mehmiya Raghid, MD - Closed

Dr. Mehmiya Raghid earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. She continued her education at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine where she earned her medical degree. Her fellowship training was at University of Tennessee in Advanced Women’s Health, Surgical and High Risk Obstetrics. Her experience also includes being Chief Resident of the Family Medicine Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI.

Dr. Raghid has conducted research in incentivizing patients to increase post partum care visits and has led numerous teaching activities nationally and internationally. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Obesity Medicine Association.

Dr. Raghid is board certified by the Diplomate American Board of Family Physicians and the Diplomate American Board of Obesity Medicine.
