Jiyoung Wong

Jiyoung Wong, DO is a member of Summit Medical Group's Hospitalist Medicine team. As an internal medicine hospitalist, Dr. Wong treats adult patients who have been hospitalized and need acute medical care.

“A hospital setting can be a frightening environment for patients, especially when they are not feeling like themselves,” says Dr. Wong. She adds, “My job is to know their medical history, understand their condition, and guide them back to optimal health while making them feel safe and comfortable in my care.”

Dr. Wong has co-authored several articles and case reports that have been published in various medical journals.

When not at the hospital seeing patients, Dr. Wong enjoys traveling, golfing, snowboarding, and spending time with family.

She is fluent in Korean and English.
