Thomas Corbo

Thomas Corbo, PA is a member of Summit Health's Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team. Mr. Corbo provides individualized orthopedic and sports medicine care to patients of all ages from babies through geriatrics. He also provides wound care from surgical wounds.

Mr. Corbo has a strong background in athletic training and was an avid rugby player in college. He has been studying sports medicine for close to eight years, having touched on all aspects, including prevention of injury, initial management of injury, treatment, rehabilitation, and getting people back to their normal routine. As an athlete for most of his life, Mr. Corbo has witnessed many injuries. “It always intrigued me to see how athletes got better and were able to restore their physical health,” he says adding that he pursued a career in sports medicine as an athletic trainer to stay involved in athletics and learn as much as possible about frontline care. “I felt destined for higher education, and a profession as a physician assistant aligned perfectly with my vision and goals.”

When not caring for patients, he enjoys cooking, hiking, camping, going to the beach, bike riding, weight training, watching sports (preferably the Yankees, Giants, and Devils).
