Mark G. Luker, MD

Dr. Luker is originally from Pennsylvania. He earned a bachelor's degree in Ithaca, New York, followed by his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Following his education, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete an Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center.Dr. Luker's guiding values for patient care are excellence, honesty and shared decision-making. A perfectionist in the operating room and the office, he is committed to making an accurate diagnosis, providing you with evidence-based information, and deciding with you what is best for you - taking into account your desires, expectations and special circumstances.As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Luker enjoys focusing on minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques and knee and shoulder joint replacement. He is passionate about the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to the knee and shoulder joints. When he is not at work, Dr. Luker enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing, cycling and playing a lot of lacrosse.
