Danny Johananoff

I'm excited to launch my photography site at these difficult and sad times of the COVID-19 spread, with hope to bring some calm and enjoyment through viewing the images.

I reside in New York. I have spent over 50 years in Photography, starting by developing and printing my work in a traditional dark room.
In the last few years I have been exhibiting my photos in galleries in New York, Miami, Rome, Milan and Piacenza, Italy.

I love the photography process, the travel, meeting new and interesting people and learning of new cultures.

I believe that the art is always out there, and as a photographer I need to capture it in an interesting way through the lens. I refer to some of my work as “painting” with the camera. My images are often blurred and dreamy, depicting the culture and the pure beauty found in nature. I begin each photo expedition with no expectations or notions on what I may find and shoot. Thus, opening myself up to receive any scenery and image that transmits emotions. It is this feeling and point of view I wish to bring to the viewer.
