Dr. Touni earned his Bachelor in Dental Surgery, graduating with honors, from Cairo University in Egypt, where he also completed a residency in general dentistry. He continued his education there with three more years studying prosthodontics.
After moving to the United States in 1998, Dr. Touni opened a dental surgery center in San Jose, California. But his true passion was in orthodontics, and he sold his practice to pursue a fellowship in craniofacial genetics and a master’s degree in orthodontics and dentistry, all from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Following this, he opened Touni Orthodontics in Silicon Valley.
Dr. Touni built Touni Orthodontics on the philosophy that science and technology go hand in hand. The team uses the latest dental technologies during treatment, whether they’re providing children’s orthodontics services, treating TMJ pain, creating clear aligners, correcting an overbite, or monitoring impacted teeth.
