Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist Dr. Yaakov Abdelhak and board-certified nurse midwife Kristin Mallon lead this practice. Their partnership offers the bests of both worlds: expertise in natural childbirth and full medical support when the need arises.
Integrative Obstetrics & Mindful Midwifery has lower cesarean birth rates and is committed to avoiding unnecessary C-sections. As a practice that promotes successful vaginal childbirth whenever possible, Integrative Obstetrics & Mindful Midwifery has an extremely high success rate of vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). More than 80% of patients who had past C-sections were able to deliver vaginally with Dr. Abdelhak and nurse midwife Mallon.
