Claude Mandel Medical Center is a premier internal medicine and gastroenterology practice in Chicago, Illinois. At their two offices in the South Shore and Hyde Park areas of Chicago, Illinois, practice founder Claudia Johnson, MD, leads an experienced team of health specialists who offer comprehensive medical care. 
Internal medicine services include head-to-toe-care, encompassing annual physicals and sick visits, as well as treatment of hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, and arthritis, as well as weight management and Alzheimer’s screening, among many other services. Dr.  Johnson is now also proud to offer telehealth services to her patients.
Gastroenterology services at Claude Mandel Medical Center include tests like anal manometry, colonoscopy, and colon cancer screening. Dr. Johnson performs a variety of procedures, such as hemorrhoid banding, and feeding tube placement and removal. 
The team also treats all manner of gastrointestinal issues, including chronic constipation, diarrhea, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, acid reflux, liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and other digestive problems. 
Patients have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials, such as the past trials for IBS treatment.
