Nancy O'Connor, MSN, CRNP

Nancy J. O’Connor graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  She worked 10 years as an inpatient nurse at HUP while earning a Master of Science in Nursing (Oncology) at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a Post-master’s certificate as a Tertiary Care Adult Nurse Practitioner in 1995.  She worked 5 years in the Neuro-oncology program at Penn with a clinical and research focus.  In 2001, she joined the Department of Surgery as a Nurse Practitioner in the Rowan Breast Center.   Her practice includes: 

1) Follow up Clinic for annual screening and survellience of women with a history of breast cancer, women at high risk for breast cancer or women who need short term follow up for imaging or other breast related problems. 

2) New Patient Breast Evaluation Clinic to workup, diagnose and treat new breast problems.  This could include  referral to imaging and/or biopsy, short term follow up or a quick referal to a breast surgeons when indicated.
