Amy Lorenzo, MSN, CRNP

Amy Lorenzo has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years. Most recently, the gastrointestinal surgery position is where she has learned  to manage complex surgical patients independently.  Additionally, she has great experience from working in a primary care practice where she saw mostly geriatric patients in their homes, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities and managed their chronic illnesses. Two very different practices that provided her with a wealth of experience and knowledge that has shaped her into the nurse practitioner she is today.

Amy's goal is to see patients from illness to wellness. She takes pride in Penn Medicine wants to be sure patients get the high quality care they expect from Penn while providing personalized, supportive care. She strives to help the patient manage their emotions, their co-morbidities and to help advise them and their families through their surgical journey. Amy also believes strongly in open communication directly with her, and keeps her phone line open for patients. High quality personal care is her mission.
