Anna Burgansky, MD

Anna Burgansky, MD, is Director of Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) and Chief of the Division of General OB/GYN at NYP/Lawrence Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). She practices general obstetrics and gynecology, with clinical interests in laparoscopic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures. She co-chairs the Quality Assurance Committee and is actively involved in the development and implementation of patient safety and quality improvements. She is an active member of ACOG's District II Safe Motherhood Initiative, where she's involved in development of guidelines and implementation of strategies aimed to reduce preventable obstetrical complications and maternal deaths in hospitals across NY State.
