Windward Way Recovery

Windward Way is a drug and alcohol treatment center located in Newport Beach, California. Our center has thirty-six detox and residential beds and fifty-five partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient beds. We offer twenty-four-hour-a-day nursing staff and have a four-to-one client-to-staff ratio. Conditions treated include substance use and alcohol use disorder, mental health, and we provide integrated care for co-occurring disorders. The average client stay is thirty days, and we accept out-of-network insurance. For our clients completing treatment, we offer in-depth continuing care and discharge planning services. Our therapy options include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma therapy, family therapy, motivational interviewing, addiction and relapse prevention education, and twelve-step programs. We offer alternative holistic therapies, which include art therapy, yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Some additional services include resume building, case management, and life skills. We also offer nightly activities such as in-house alumni twelve-step meetings. Our treatment center has successfully treated thousands of men and women for drug and alcohol addiction. Windward Way provides our clients with medical assistance and real-world life skills, including responsibility, accountability, and structure to build a foundation for lifelong recovery. The healthy, positive environment we foster helps clients learn the recovery process in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
