About Dr. DeoNarine
Brian J. DeoNarine, MD, FACC, is an esteemed cardiologist serving the Vero Beach, Florida community. He takes a patient-centered approach to care, and has worked in the medical field for over 20 years.
Dr. DeoNarine began his education at Saint John’s University in Jamaica, New York, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. He then completed medical school at Mount Sinai Medical School, before his internal medicine internship and residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He rounded out his medical training with a fellowship in cardiology at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola, New York, where he earned the title of Chief Fellow. His cardiovascular training included an emphasis in Nuclear cardiology, Echocardiography, Trans-esophageal echocardiography, and diagnostic heart catheterization. His Practice is IAC certified in Nuclear Cardiology as well as Echocardiography.
Dr. DeoNarine is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He also participates in the ABIM maintenance of certification program (MOC). He is a strong advocate for continuing education/training in his field.
He has had hospital privileges at Indian River Medical Center (now Cleveland Clinic of Indian River Hospital) since 1997. During his time at the Hospital, he has served both as Vice Chairman and Chairman of Cardiology. He maintains his privileges at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital.
Dr. DeoNarine and his family moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1997 after he completed his fellowship training. He has received several awards for Most Compassionate Doctor/Top 1% over the years.
