Asha Murthy, MD

Dr. Asha Murthy is a Medical Oncologist for Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology. Her primary interests include medical oncology, as well as blood disorders and solid tumors.After completing medical training at Bangalore Medical College in India, Dr. Murthy completed her residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Morristown Hospital, where she was named Outstanding Resident of the Year. She completed her fellowship at University of Maryland School of Medicine Cancer Center.Dr. Murthy is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Society of Medical Oncology, and the Indo-American Cancer Association.
