Sunila Philips, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified family physician and primary care doctor who has been providing comprehensive healthcare services to individuals living in and around Plano and McKinney, Texas, since 2011. She brings more than a decade of outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care experience to Wellness Medicine McKinney.
Dr. Philips earned her medical degree from Dr.B.R Ambedkar Medical College in Bangalore, India. She then moved to the United States, where she completed her residency in family medicine at New York Medical College - St.Joseph's Family Medicine Program. Subsequently, she completed her Fellowship in geriatric medicine at New York Medical College - Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center.
Dr.Philips is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a member of the American Geriatric Society, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is affiliated with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano and Medical City Plano.
Dr.Philips has built a strong reputation for excellence in providing compassionate care to patients of all ages. She places a high priority on prevention-based care, wellness strategies, health education, and risk assessment tailored to promote healing and wellbeing. Her special interest in anti-aging and regenerative medicine led her to take advanced training in medical aesthetics - injectables (Botox®, Dysport®, and dermal fillers), laser medical aesthetics, IPL (Intense Pulse Light), Kybella®, sclerotherapy, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), microneedling, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies, including female rejuvenation.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her two sons and husband. She resides in Frisco and is looking forward to providing quality medical care for the residents of McKinney and surrounding communities.
