Michelle Bender

Michelle Bender, MD, FAAP, joined Summit Health in 1996. Dr. Bender is Former Chair of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Group. Dr. Bender says, "Since I was little I have known that I wanted to be a physician who works with children. I enjoy developing plans that are tailored to and meet the needs of each of my patients and their families. In addition to giving practical advice, I strive to provide comprehensive care for each of our families."<br />

Dr. Bender is a board member for Intensive Therapeutics, a nonprofit, charitable organization that provides group and individual occupational therapy for children with special needs. She has been featured in New Jersey Family "New Jersey's Favorite Kids' Docs" listings, New Jersey Monthly "Top Doctors" listings, and Millburn-Short Hills "Super Docs" listings.<br />

When she is not working with her patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys reading, cycling, and traveling.
