Kavita Sabnani-Nagella

Kavita Sabnani-Nagella is part of Summit Health’s Internal Medicine team. Dr. Nagella is board certified in internal medicine and has over 15 years of outpatient experience treating patients for common and complicated primary care problems. She enjoys spending time with her patients, focusing on preventative health care and is a firm believer in implementing lifestyle changes to help prevent chronic medical illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. “Recent studies reflect how our diets can trigger numerous inflammatory conditions,” says Dr. Nagella. “Changing our diet is key to decreasing these chronic diseases,” she adds.<br />

Dr. Nagella spent three years in London, where she received a Master’s in Global Health and helped implement a diabetes prevention program at the local National Health Service.<br />

When she is not working, Dr. Nagella enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading and exercising.
