Jeffrey Katz

In addition to his position at Summit Health, Jeffrey I. Katz, MD, is Chairman of the Medical Records Committee, Surgery Resident Selection Committee, and Resident Surgery Education Committee at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Katz is Former Chief in the Section of Urology and Former Chairman in the Department of Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center.<br />

Dr. Katz's research interests are primarily devoted to urinary tract infections, urgency, prostate cancer detection, overactive bladder, and bladder cancer. He is the coauthor of articles and abstracts that are published in prestigious, peer-reviewed scientific journals such as Journal of Urology.<br />

Dr. Katz is a member of the American Association of Clinical Urologists, American Urological Association, American Urological Association New York Section, American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, Essex County Medical Society, American Lithotripsy Society, International Endourological Society, New York Urodynamic Society, New Jersey Urological Association, New Jersey Academy of Medicine, and New Jersey Medical Society. He is a member of the Stone Center of New Jersey Medical Advisory Committee, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Medical Advisory Committee, New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Advisory Committee, and Foundation for Diabetic Research Board of Trustees.<br />
