Avinash Kothavale

Avinash A. Kothavale, MD, FACC, specializes in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, dyslipidemia, heart disease prevention, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, transesophageal echocardiolography, and nuclear cardiology. He is board certified in internal medicine, Cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology, and echocardiography. In addition, he has advanced training in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and echocardiography.<br />

Dr. Kothavale helped develop the Summit Health Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center. He is a former member of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Consultant Medical Staff. He is Former Chair of the Summit Health Medical Research division. The Consumer Research Council of America lists Dr. Kothavale in "America's Top Cardiologists." He has been featured in New Jersey Monthly “Top Doctors” listings.
