Charles Becker

Charles Becker, MD is a member of Summit Health's Family Medicine team.&nbsp;Dr. Becker provides high-quality comprehensive primary care to patients all ages with a special focus on prevention and open doctor-patient communication. “Patients should feel that their concerns are understood during a visit, and I do my best to make sure that’s the case,” says Dr. Becker. Dr. Becker was drawn to the medical field after working as a counselor at a group home. During his time there, he was inspired by those he worked with and was able to witness the positive influence that a good physician could have on a person. Shortly after that experience, he applied to medical school. He is now happy to part of a profession where his own work positively impacts lives and benefits others.<br />

When not caring for patients, Dr. Becker enjoys reading fiction, fantasy, and non-fiction books. He also works to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle and on weekends can be found running or hiking. On a typical day off, he finds enjoyment in preparing new meals, playing video games with old friends, or discovering/creating new music.
