Yong Kwon

Yong M. Kwon, MD, specializes in general gastroenterology, including inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer screening, pancreas disease, liver disease, bile duct disease, and intestinal disease. He has expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic treatment of Barrett's esophagus, gastrointestinal stenting, feeding tube placement, and nonsurgical management of hemorrhoids.<br />

Dr. Kwon has practiced with Gastroenterology Group of New Jersey since 2012. He is the author or coauthor of articles and studies that are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Surgical Endoscopy, and European Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.<br />

Dr. Kwon is the recipient of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center John R. Mendelsohn Outstanding Teaching Fellow Award and the University of Michigan Hospitals Bruce A. Jones Outstanding House Staff Spirit Award.
