Kim Gately

Kim Gately, RDN is a member of Summit Health's Weight Management team. Ms. Gately specializes in health and wellness through eating behavior modification, nutrition counseling and weight management. She has previously worked on the development of individual and group weight loss programs. As a provider, Ms. Gately’s focus is on developing a solid, trustworthy relationship with each patient and equipping them with the confidence they need to improve their overall health and achieve their nutritional goals. “In many instances, people come in having had some success with diets but still struggle with long-term weight management. I work to assure them that the past is the past, and that it’s never too late for a fresh start,” says Ms. Gately. “Once they are able to shed their self-doubt, it’s amazing to see how far they can go,” she adds.<br />

When not working with patients, Ms. Gately enjoys cooking, traveling, and hanging beachside with her family. She is also passionate about fighting childhood hunger and improving access to healthy foods.
