Kirsten Ruhl

Kirsten Ruhl (formerly Tandberg), PA-C is a physician assistant in the office of Anthony Pastena, DO at Summit Health. Prior to joining Dr. Pastena's practice, she worked at Urgi-Med Urgent Care in Randolph, The Doctor’s Inn Medical Center in Ramsey, and Middletown Medical in Middletown, NY.<br />

Ms. Ruhl is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants, MD Advisor Emerging Medical Leaders Advisory Council and the Phi Alpha National Physician Assistant Honor Society. She has published research in the areas of patient education and obesity. Ms. Tandberg has an expertise in diabetes and obesity management.<br />

Ms. Ruhl is the recipient of the Edward J. Ill Excellence in Medicine Scholarship.<br />

When she isn't working she enjoys baking, cooking, traveling, crafting, attending concerts and festivals, hiking, 4-wheeling and anything outdoors. Ms. Tandberg is also a huge animal lover.
