Angelo Palermo - CLOSED

Angelo Palermo, MD is a member of Summit Health's Pediatrics / Adolescent Medicine team. Dr. Palermo believes in a therapeutic alliance with both child and family that focuses on preventing illness, modifying risk factors, and maintaining health so children become happy, thriving adults. His approach to healing considers the biological, psychological, and social influences that impact growth and development.<br />

Dr. Palermo grew up in Essex County and completed his pediatric training in New Jersey. He worked at the Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick caring for medically complex children prior to moving to the San Francisco Bay Area and joining the Palo Alto Medical Foundation where he practiced outpatient pediatrics. During his time in California, Dr. Palermo took an interest in how environmental factors affect the health of children.<br />

He moved back to New Jersey in 2018 and brought with him a revitalized love for coffee, music, and the outdoors. He wishes he could have brought back the amazing weather but is confident you’ll appreciate his sunny disposition.<br />

When he’s not in the office Dr. Palermo and his wife are busy raising their young daughter, hoping to blend the best of both East and West Coast sensibilities.
