Elizabeth Junker

Elizabeth Junker, MD is a member of Summit Health's Urgent Care Center team. Dr. Junker provides comprehensive general illness and injury treatment to patients in a setting that is convenient for them. Prior to joining Summit Health, she practiced as an emergency medicine physician for thirteen years. “I believe in the team approach to medical care and work together with patients, their families, and other providers to deliver high-quality care,” says Dr. Junker. “I believe in treating patients with the same care, respect and compassion that I would expect caregivers to provide to my own family members.”<br />

Outside of the Urgent Care facility, Dr. Junker enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and playing and coaching basketball. She also has an interest in travel medicine as related to prevention of travel-related illnesses.
