Berit Goro-CLOSED

Berit Goro, OD, is a member of Summit Health's Ophthalmology team. Dr. Goro is board certified in optometry and provides comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings, as well as all primary eye care, including evaluation and treatment of eye infections and inflammation, ocular allergy, dry eyes, corneal abrasions, glaucoma, and monitoring of diabetes and cataracts.<br />

As an optometry student, Dr. Goro was active in Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity. With the group, she participated in an eye care mission to Mexico that provided eye examinations and donated eyeglasses to underserved populations.<br />

While studying optometry, Dr. Goro was a member of The Ohio State Ballroom Dance Team and competed in collegiate level ballroom dance. Along with her continued interest in ballroom dance and Argentine tango, she enjoys foreign travel, hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, and the more relaxed pursuits of playing bridge and strategy board games.<br />

Dr. Goro is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
