Michael Lewis

Michael G. Lewis, MD, FAAP is a member of Summit Health’s Pediatrics team. Dr. Lewis is board-certified in Pediatrics and is experienced in providing a wide range of comprehensive care to children of all ages – from preventive care and immunizations to the treatment of chronic and acute illnesses. Dr. Lewis is proud to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were both physicians, stating, “As the son and grandson of two excellent doctors, I was inspired to care for others from a young age, and just as they were, I am dedicated to guiding patients (even the youngest of them) to healthier and happier lives.”<br />

In addition to his role at Summit Health, Dr. Lewis serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NY Medical College. His dedication to high-quality childcare has earned him many accolades; recipient of the Sergio Award: Heal the Children and nominated by NJ Family as a "New Jersey Favorite Kids' Docs" for 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2019.<br />

Dr. Lewis is bilingual in English and Spanish. He resides in Bergen County with his wife and two children. When not at the office, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his family and biking, skiing, and skating with friends.
