Smita Hiremath

Before joining Summit Health, Smita R. Hiremath, AuD, CCC/A, was Lead Audiologist and Clinic Coordinator for the Somerset Hearing Center in Somerset, New Jersey. Dr. Hiremath has more than 25 years' experience in audiology. Her expertise includes neurodiagnostic and threshold assessments and dispensing, fitting, and programming digital and conventional hearing aids in people with hearing loss.<br />

Dr. Hiremath has been an audiologist at Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center and Monmouth Medical Center, both in New Jersey. She also has been an audiologist for Elmhurst Hospital and Coler-Gldwater Memorial Hospital, both in New York City. Dr. Hiremath is a member of the American Speech and Language Association and American Academy of Audiology.<br />

When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Hiremath enjoys reading, gourmet cooking, and listening to music.
