Dr. Wooten joined New Jersey Physicians in 2008. Until then, he practiced privately in Rutherford from 1998. Dr. Wooten is lead coordinator for the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative, a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - funded project, in Rutherford, New Jersey. He has been an assistant professor and a clinical instructor for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School and a physician supervisor for the University Hospital Medical Residency Clinic, both located in Newark.<br />

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Wooton enjoys spending time with his family, which includes his wife, children, 2 lap dogs, and a few pet birds. He also enjoys traveling and political humor.
