Jeffrey Danzig

Jeffrey B. Danzig, MD is part of Summit Health’s Gastroenterology team. In practice for over 28 years, Dr. Danzig has extensive experience in treating a variety of common digestive health conditions and specializes in gastrointestinal conditions including, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Irritable Bowel syndrome (IBS) and acid related diseases.<br />

Dr. Danzig places high priority on close communication with his patients, confident that it truly makes a difference during the course of their treatment and leads to the best possible health outcomes.<br />

Dr. Danzig is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a former faculty member at Cornell University’s School of Medicine. He is also a national lecturer on GI diseases and has authored numerous articles on various GI disorders including GI Malignancy in AIDS and The Treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease with Proton Pump Inhibitors.<br />

When not caring for patients, Dr. Danzig enjoys spending time with his family and reading novels.
