Laurie Silverstein-CLOSED

Laurie Silverstein, MA, LPC, ACS, ACT, is a member of Summit Health's Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy team. Prior to joining the team, she was a domestic violence counselor for Jersey Battered Women's Service (JBWS) for 14 years. She ran their Center for Healthy Relationships program providing individual and group counseling for residents and professionals in and around the Morris County area who identified power and control dynamics in their relationships. She also periodically runs groups for Genpsych in Livingston, NJ and has extensive experience working with college students.<br />

Ms. Silverstein is a member of the American Counseling Association and the New Jersey Counseling Association.<br />

Ms. Silverstein specializes in individual and group counseling for anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and stress related to life changes such as divorce. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, hiking, yoga and mediation as well as spending time with her husband and their two German Shepard dogs.
