Richard S. Nitzberg, MD, specializes in general and vascular surgery, hernia surgery, gall bladder surgery, excision of masses, and laparoscopic surgery. During his more than 25 years of practice, he has performed more than 2,500 hernia surgeries and 2,500 laparoscopic gallbladder surgeries.<br />

Dr. Nitzberg also runs the Summit Health Vein Center, which provides treatment for spider and varicose veins with leading-edge laser treatment. In addition, he is Chief of General Surgery and Vice Chief of Vascular Surgery at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey.<br />
