Jasmine Mushington

Jasmine M. Mushington, LPC, is a member of Summit Health's Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy Center team. Ms. Mushington is experienced in helping adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-concept, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, mood disorders, and LGBTQ concerns.<br />

Ms. Mushington’s drive to pursue a career in mental health stemmed from always wanting to help others reach their greatest potential through listening and empathy. As a licensed professional counselor, her goal is to minimize immediate risk, provide support in a warm and comfortable space, and build a lasting rapport with patients. She says, “Being able to provide practical strategies and tools that can improve mental strength and stability and inspire hope is the best part of what I do.” She adds, “Mental health is an area that contributes to a large portion of your life experience, and we all need a safe space to manage and improve ourselves.”<br />

Ms. Mushington is passionate about caring for the planet and providing support to those less fortunate than herself. Outside of work, she loves to play basketball, enjoy the outdoors, and create lasting memories with her family and friends.
