Jonathan Resnick

Jonathan Resnick, MD is a member of Summit Health’s Gastroenterology team. Dr. Resnick has clinical expertise and special interest in colorectal cancer screening, treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, and the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). His care philosophy is centered around active listening to ensure the individual needs of each patient are properly communicated, understood and sufficiently addressed with high-quality care and proper procedural skills.

Dr. Resnick has extensive research and medical presentation experience. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and a Fellow of both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. His published works, some of which have been cited numerous times, include entries in peer reviewed medical journals such as the American Journal of Gastroenterology and Primary Care and Cancer. He has also made multiple appearances on local radio broadcasts and with not-for-profit organizations to educate on colorectal cancer awareness and screening guidelines for the disease.

Dr. Resnick is an avid sports fan, closely following every move of New York teams, including the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks.
