Our restaurant is located in Washington County, New York, on the New York/ Vermont border. Granville, New York is known for its pastoral landscapes and dairy farms, Telescope Casual Furniture, and the booming slate industry during its heyday — Granville is the Colored Slate Capital of the World. As a result, Granville is a cultural melting pot, as the slate industry brought immigrants from all over Europe during the boom eras.
