Carlton Taylor Lewis, MD

C. Taylor Lewis, MD, is a vascular surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens and an assistant professor of surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Lewis specializes in performing procedures, including endovascular aneurysm repair, open aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, TCAR (carotid stenting), and vascular access surgery. He also performs radiofrequency ablation of varicose veins, endovenous laser ablation, thoracic outlet decompression, endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease, and arterial bypass surgery.

Dr. Lewis is a member of several organizations including the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, the Eastern Vascular Society, the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. He has presented his vascular research at annual and national medical meetings.

After graduating from the University of Florida College of Medicine, Dr. Lewis completed his general surgery internship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and took part in the surgical mentor program. He served his residency in general surgery at Temple University Hospital, where he was named chief resident and a member of the education committee in the department of surgery and the pharmacy and therapeutics committee. He completed his fellowship training in vascular surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian, where he was a member of the Epic Clinical Leadership Group.
