Ming Wu, MD - Family Medicine

Ming Wu, MD, PhD, believes that the trust between patient and provider is where medicine begins. Medications, procedures, and other treatments are all based on the foundational trust between patient and provider. Dr. Wu views his relationship with the patient as a partnership, and he works with the patient to provide patient-focused care tailored to each individual. Dr. Wu provides care for the whole family and can treat acute illnesses like allergies, infections and aches and sprains. He also helps to manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes and thyroid disease.

Dr. Wu attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, his Medical Degree and Doctor of Philosophy. He completed his residency at the University of Oklahoma Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Wu received training in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen chamber treatment.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Wu enjoys hiking, reading, playing video games and spending time with his family.
