Alexander Toirac, MD

Alexander Toirac, M.D., is a cardiologist at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, specializing in the treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, arrythmias and heart failure. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Before joining Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, Dr. Toirac completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Florida Shands Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his internal medicine residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association.

Dr. Toirac believes in listening to his patients and providing individualized care based on their goals and the most up-to-date evidence.

In his free time, Dr. Toirac enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
