Dr. Alberto D. Cuellar graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Bioengineering. He attended medical school and completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Given his undergraduate background and interest in biomechanics, Dr. Cuellar pursued a fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery at Southwestern Medical School / Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. Dr. Cuellar holds a certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Further, he is an active member and fellow of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Cuellar is passionate about his profession and takes great pride in being able to help patients obtain a new lease on life by removing pain and improving function. He has performed thousands of surgeries and continuously seeks out newer ways to help people. He believes in life-long learning and advancing medicine through innovation.
