Anisha P Kamath, MD

Dr. Anisha Kamath specializes in treating patients with asthma, lung cancer, COPD, and other lung diseases. She has a special interest in treatment of severe asthma. She performs routine flexible bronchoscopy with transbronchial biopsy. She also performs EBUS bronchoscopy for diagnosis of lung cancer, sarcoidosis, etc. She is also an expert in critical care procedures, including ultrasonography.

Dr. Kamath received a medical degree from the Government Medical College in Miraj, India. She completed a residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She gained further training through a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, New York.

She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Medical Association, and Indian Medical Association. She speaks English, Hindi, Konkani, and Marathi.
