When someone you love is experiencing a stroke and requires emergency care, it is reassuring to know that expert help is immediately available. Mission Stroke Center is committed to our community to diagnose, treat and manage patients suffering from a stroke. We have a Code Stroke Team designed to respond to stroke as an emergency; we have carefully developed evidence-based protocols and orders for transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke that are consistently updated based on the most current stroke research; we use thrombolytic or 'clot-busting' agents if indicated; and utilize the most current interventional procedures, such as mechanical clot retrieval systems and coiling for aneurysms.
