Dr. Marcela Dominguez is a board certified Family Medicine Physician on staff at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center and in private practice in South Orange County. She holds a BS in Kinesiology from UCLA and an MD from University of California, San Diego. Between her undergraduate work and Medical School, Dr. Dominguez worked as a fourth grade teacher for one year. She loves taking care of everyone, and therefore chose to practice Family Medicine. Dr. Dominguez completed her Family Medicine Residency Program at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. As a resident, she knew that she wanted to deliver babies, so she completed additional training in Maternity Care. During this time, she received the Mead Johnson Leadership Award, which annually recognizes only 15 residents nationwide for their leadership and community involvement.
