Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue

Dedicated to saving the lives of homeless domestic and non-releasable pigeons and doves in the Great Lakes region who would otherwise face euthanasia or a lack of care, Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue provides foster homes, pigeon adoption services, and medical treatment to the pigeons and doves that come through the program. GLPR works to enhance awareness of the suitability of rescued pigeons and doves as pets, especially as an alternative to the exotic pet trade and birds for sale. By advocating for pigeons and doves, we foster compassion for all living creatures. Our Pigeon Rescue offers pigeons and doves for adoption (visible on Petfinder) both locally in the Great Lakes region and long-distance within the continental United States.
