Kevin Schmidt, MD - Pain Management

Kevin Schmidt, MD, approaches his patients’ pain as the result of an injury, illness or disabling conditions with treatments focused on improvement of function. He is a specialist in rehabilitative medicine and spends time with his patients formulating a comprehensive and holistic regimen to see all underlying aspects of the illness and to treat based on total wellness of the whole person – not just the problem area. His goal is to restore the function lost and rehabilitate by pain relieving interventions, regenerative and functional medicine. He specializes in injection techniques to provide pain relief and diagnostic information, in addition to interventional pain medicine.

He received his undergraduate degree in kinesiology and exercise physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder and earned his medical degree and Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. Dr. Schmidt is certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and pain medicine through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Schmidt loves an active Colorado lifestyle with his family where they enjoy snowboarding, biking, paddle boarding and rooting for their favorite team, the Denver Broncos. He has also participated on medical missions in Rwanda and India.
