Jeane McCarthy, MD

Dr. McCarthy specializes in neonatology with the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute. She joined the hospital staff in 1977 and founded its Institutional Review Board and ethics committee. She served as chief of staff for three years. Dr. McCarthy earned her medical degree at University of Miami School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency and her neonatology fellowship at University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. She also has a Master of Medical Science degree in physiology from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in pharmacology from West Virginia University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in pharmacology at the University of Miami.
