Meet Aman Upadhyay, MD 
 
Aman Upadhyay, MD, provides his patients with high-quality, customized pain management at his practice in Waterford and Rochester Hills, Michigan. In partnership with the Pain Clinic of Michigan, Dr. Upadhyay offers pain relief treatments, including chiropractic care, injections, and physical therapy.
Dr. Upadhyay earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Illinois in Chicago and then completed a surgical internship at the University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Ohio. After his internship, Dr. Upadhyay completed an anesthesiology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was named resident of the year and nominated for a top-resident honor before completing an interventional pain management fellowship.
After his fellowship, Dr. Upadhyay remained for several years at Henry Ford Hospital as the director of pain medicine research while practicing pain medicine.
Dr. Upadhyay is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, and a proud member of the NFL Players Association Pain Medicine Council. He’s the acting pain management physician of the Detroit Lions football team.
