Christopher Nagle, MD

Dr. Nagle strives to deliver personalized medicine and to identify and treat root causes of health issues. He believes first and foremost that preventive medicine is the best medicine. He employs an integrative approach to healing and draws from a breadth of professional practice experiences.

Dr. Nagle began working in the health field first prior to medical school as a senior radiation health physicist for Georgetown University Medical Center from 1998 to 1999. He has practiced medicine in a variety of settings—including government, military, academic, community health center, and private practice—and served as a contract flight surgeon for the United States Air Force and emergency response flight surgeon for NASA Space Shuttle Discovery Launch STS-133. Prior to joining Piedmont Internal Medicine, he practiced primary care medicine and aviation medicine as a solo practitioner and FAA aviation medical examiner in a startup private practice.
